The next Dissidia [012]: Final Fantasy Character has been revealed. It's none other than the pretty much known Vaan. I mean, come on, everyone knows he's gonna be in it. He was the main character in Final Fantasy 12, and his voice actors, yes actorS, both english and japanese, have long since hinted that he is going to be in this game. I wonder how many Balthier fans and Ashe fans are gonna weep and moaned. It's widely agreed upon that Vaan is not in the very least a very much liked character.

Dissidia Duodecim Dreams 2
Theres really no other I can put up for now.... |
I had a dream again, and this one made me so happy I woke up with a stupid grin. I wished I hadn't wake up at all. Glad I chose to go back to sleep when I first woke up at around 9, otherwise I wouldn't have this dream. Yea, I woke up at 11 today, so it ain't that long of a dream. You might ask, why share with us your dream? Well, first off, I feel its rather interesting, and I have stated in my very first post that this blog also serves as a sort of record for my life, so yeah.
Anyway, I was dreaming that I was playing the game on Christmas...woohoo, apparently it was released on December 19th. I wonder where the heck I got this date. But it's quite possible that it will be released in December since the North American version is due for a release in Q1 2011. So who knows? The first thing that came to mind when I play it was, the developers did a good job by changing the menus art and style so that it doesn't feel like the last Dissidia. The menus are way different, especially the character selection menu, where the first thing that came to mind when I reflected on it (after I woke up) was it felt more like generic fighting games as compared to the original Dissidia. In my dream, the characters are represented by the icons that are usually present when they fight (the circular one). Another thing I really want to see implemented is the ability to change costumes without accessing the Customization menu, especially with 3 costumes now.

Gaming Sundays: Final Fantasy IX
![]() |
US Cover of FFIX |
Some loyal readers might have realized that this week's Gaming Sunday is actually posted on a Wednesday. This is due to the fact that I caught a cold. No, flu really. Sore throat, coughing, and all the others packed into one. The only thing absent was fever. Now that I'm back, I decided to write it, since I did after all reserve a post on Sunday.
Some of you might think, what? Final Fantasy IX? This game is ancient. While it is ancient, I just finished the game last Saturday, so I think it deserves a place here. I actually started a Final Fantasy gaming spree since a few months back, in July to be precise. I played them at first so that I can find some skills to be put into a Warcraft III map I was making based on Dissidia. When the map did not turn out well, I played it to learn how RPGs run while making a game with RPG Maker VX, while the project is still running, it's pace is very, VERY slow, since all members are drowned in assignments and tests. Now, I'm playing FFs to "celebrate" the arrival to Dissidia [012] Duodecim in Spring 2011.

Dissidia Duodecim Dreams
While waiting for the video processing to finish, which has taken me the entire afternoon, and this is my 3rd retry, let me entertain you with an odd dream of mine. Well, with all the hype about Dissidia Duodecim and my Programming II test, some sort of odd dream is bound to show up sooner than later.
Some of you might know from the previous blog that I'm a weird dreamer. Seriously, most of my dreams are weird and mess up, and some are very deja-vu-ish. There was one time I dreamt about my aunt carrying my cousin and walking across the road. Bamp, it happened. But considering the percentage of happening, it might just be entirely coincidental. Whatever...

Gaming Sundays: Upcoming FF Games
This few year(s), there seems to be an unusually large amount of Final Fantasy Games that are going to be produced. 2 of the 3 part Fabula Nova Crystallis, a sequel to the 2008 fighting game and a new MMORPG. All these are FF titles alone, seems like Square Enix is on a row, with the recently released Kingdom Hearts:Birth by Sleep and the upcoming 3rd Birthday, Square Enix is, I must say, busy.
