Naruto 518, Bleach 428, One Piece 605

Quite a big load of mangas this week, including One Piece Green Databook and Bleach Hell's Arc Special.

So the war starts off with the fight between the Ambush units, and the current count is Shinobis 1, Madara 0. Yup, that's right, Kankuro's squad actually won, with Kankuro doing much of the duty. Omoi has a small part in it, and Sai did next to nothing. He did complete his picture book though, and his brother pass away in peace. Apparently, Sai never got the chance to fight him in the first place since he died before the fight took place. Speaking of which, I wonder whatever happened to Root? Are they still in operation?

Bleach 428 & Bleach Hell's Arc Special

Finally we get the name of the Mystery Man, and also the name of his newly arrived friends/partners/staff. Seems like Karin is taking over some of Ichigo's duty as well, and it also seems like it is a secret. So I really, really am curious about the whole thing about the Kurosaki family and also Urahara, Mystery Man seems to know a lot.

Frankly, I wasn't expecting Chapter 428, and more of expecting only Hell's Arc Special, since that was what One Piece did, if I remembered correctly. Speaking of which, why are all the movies getting Special Arcs now? It's a waste of space if you asked me. Anyway, we get to see Aaroniero and Syazel, and are in hell, and we also see someone who seemingly is in-charge of hell, and his need to get Ichigo to open some sort of gateway to hell. About time hell was covered, I've been pretty interested since the time it appeared, yup that one and only time, during the Sado and his parakeet(?)/bird arc.

And just when they got together, they are separated. Again. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji have been separated from the rest of the team. After applying some bubbles, the monster trio heads off to fight the Kraken, and the other crew members help to defend the ship. Seems like Franky can now launch rockets, to the amazement of Usopp, Chopper and Luffy. Luffy delivers a Gear Third + Color of armament Haki punch on the Kraken and a shark appears. The Kraken falls the downward stream, and the rest of the crew follows. The monster trio are then separated from the rest. I wonder if Luffy's turned chibi again...
