Newsflash (i guess): Laguna in Duodecim, Aya gets more outfits...

Well, this would probably have appeared in my blog a few days ago, if...IF...i didn't have my exams, so anyway, quite a number of big news surrounding Duodecim, including 1 new character, 1 new stage and some other stuff...

Hailing from FFVIII, Laguna Loire is the latest addition to the Duodecim cast. Dubbed the Tactical Gunner, Laguna is the gun-version of Vaan. Well, pretty much anyway. Laguna is able to use an array of gun-type weapons, not limited to his trusty machine gun. Others include a sniper rifle, a rocket launcher, grenades and a shotgun. Reports have stated that Laguna's gameplay is aimed to be "3rd Person Shooter"-ish, with him able to shoot while running. Also, pressing X or [] more times will mean higher overall damage. His Ex-Mode is the Fairies have come, and his Ex-Burst is Desperado, which sees him using the Ulitmate Ragnarok Cannon. His 1st alternate is his Galbadian uniform.

The new stage for Dissidia [012] Duodecim, the Crystal Tower, comes from FFIII. Players will fight at the outside of the Crystal Tower, and will be able to climb it up to a certain extend. I wish they would reveal Prima Vista already. Some have claimed that barring from FF11-13, all FFs will receive either a new character or a new stage, so that would leave FF1, 5, 6, 9 and 10 left....which would get which, I wonder. Though I have a funny feeling that FF6 ain't getting anything new.

New alternate costumes have appear, with Squall getting his Sleeveless Amano work, Ultimecia as Edea, Cloud of Darkness as Flood/Cloud of Light and Onion Knight getting his new alternate from another Amano artwork. It would seem like it is meant to be a Warrior of Darkness. Also, seems like Square Enix did away with the chess board thing and change it into a World Map instead. No towns here, though shops are available. Seems like my hunch on Cosmos and Chaos getting one overall story each instead of personal destiny odysseys is correct. Though we would have to play the game to know for sure. Remember me saying I dreamed about a desert looking area? Remember me saying I dreamed about playing Dissidia in a RPG manner, the camera stuck on ur neck thing? *shudders*

IMPORTANT: Just in today, the JPN version of Dissidia [012]: Final Fantasy is slated for a 03/03/2011 release, and the US version might follow in less than a month, cant wait to get my hands on it.

IMPORTANT 2: Also just in today, seems like Japanese Twitters have claimed that Yuna was seen in the Jump Festa Closed Trailer. Can't wait for the leak....

Aya Brea as Knight in Shining Armor

Seems like Aya Brea has gotten two more outfits in my two weeks absence from the Internet. A new trailer for T3B is also available, with a longer wedding scene. Today might see the surfacing of the last trailer as T3B is released next Wednesday. Cant wait, cant wait. Might find the Asian version if it's in Mandarin. Anyway, talking about the costumes.

The first outfit that Aya got was the Knight. I guess my guess on school girl was off. At least Knight looks more...erm...decent... That gun she is wielding also looks badass. Another costume is her as Santa Claus, or is it Santa Maria? Not sure, but you get the idea.

Aya as Santa

New scans also shows some of T3B's gameplay, involving upgrading Aya or Aya's weapon (not sure) using enemy DNA. This coupled with all the weapons and Overdrive, makes me wanna get my hands on T3B. The sooner, the better.
